Baby season is in swing at the Wildlife Rescue Center! Take a day from your Spring Break, and visit us to learn all about native Missouri animal babies.
Campers will take a tour of our wildlife rehabilitation hospital, and make projects to help animals in their backyards. If the weather is permitable, we will take a
hike in the afternoon to observe nesting behavior and the awakening of hibernating animals.
Cost includes all materials for the day and a snack in the afternoon.
Campers need to bring their own packed lunch and refillable water bottle.

JUNE 18TH - 22ND: BOBCATS CAMP
9am - 3pm at Wildlife Rescue Center

Our week long camps at the Wildlife Rescue Center are for the true animal lover! After an introductory walk through our wildlife rehabilitation clinic, campers
will gain an insider's perspective into the world of treating injured wildlife. Each day we will explore the natural environment through inquiry based activities
that draw on campers' imagination and creativity. Group games and team building allow children to discover the world of symbiosis in nature. Through stories, poetry,
and nature art, we will play our way through the summer days while learning about Missouri ecology and native wildlife. Cost of Bobcats camp includes all materials and a
snack each day. Campers will need to bring their own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle daily.

JUNE 25TH-29TH: MOUNTAIN LIONS CAMP
9am - 3pm at Wildlife Rescue Center
Ages 10-13 Cost: $200.00

Discover the synergy between plants and animals through observation and hands-on inquiry. Campers will act as field ecologists, using real equipment to create and record their findings.
Through nature journaling, art, outdoor excursions and games, campers will learn about native Missouri wildlife at their appropriate age level. Included in the week will be guest speakers
from other animal organizations, and plenty of time spent observing animal patients in our wildlife rehabilitation hospital. Cost of Mountain Lions camp includes all materials and a snack
each day. Campers will need to bring their own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle daily.

JULY 12TH-13TH: TEEN WILDLIFE CAREER CAMP
at Wildlife Rescue Center
Ages 13-16 Cost: $80.00

This year we are offering our Teen Career Camp in a two day adventure! Day one will focus on learning about animal welfare and environmentally related careers in a fun and engaging way.
Through guest speakers, art projects, outdoor excursions, and games, teens will discover possibilities for their future to help our planet. Examples of careers explored include: wildlife
rehabilitator, animal rescue officer, field biologist, and nature artist. On Friday night we will meet up for a bonfire cookout to rehash all of the fun things we learned, and play outdoor
games after dark. Cost of Teen Wildlife Career Camp includes all materials and snacks on Thursday. Campers will need to bring their own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle on Thursday,
and we will provide dinner on Friday.

JULY 20TH: MOUNTAIN LIONS ONE DAY CAMP

The Mountain Lions one day camp will be a day packed with exciting and challenging activities. Campers will have a chance to learn about wildlife conservation on their level.
With guest speakers, outdoor excursions, and hands-on ecological study, campers will begin to understand the deep connections between various aspects of our local environment.
One day camps always include an extended tour of our wildlife rehabilitation hospital, and time spent exploring the field of wildlife treatment and release. Cost includes all materials
for the day and a snack in the afternoon. Campers need to bring a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle.

Join the Wildlife Rescue Center for a mid-summer wildlife adventure! Animals are abundant, food is plentiful, and we will spend the day exploring our local ecosystems.
