If you have found a baby animal you believe may need help please read below to determine a course of action.
Contact the Wildife Rescue Center immediately if:
- The animal is obviously injured
- The mother is known to be dead
- There are flies around the baby and/or there are white or yellow clumps of fly eggs in the baby's fur (especially around the eyes, ears, mouth, armpits, anus). These will hatch maggots that will begin to feed on the baby. If maggots are already present, every effort should be made to get the baby to the Wildlife Rescue Center as soon as possible.
