The Wildlife Rescue Center releases about 1,000 animals each year. That's an average of almost 20 animals each week. Nearly all of these releases take place
on privately owned land and we are always looking for new release sites.
- Squirrels thrive in an area with dense trees.
- Cottontail rabbits thrive in an area with tall grass and thick undergrowth.
- Opossums thrive in a wooded area with brush piles.
- Raccoons thrive in a rural area with abandoned structures such as an empty barn.
- Foxes/Coyotes thrive in a rural wooded area.
