The average cost to care for one wild
animal from rescue to release is just
$70—a worthy investment to provide the care, medicine, and food needed to help wild patients like this young raccoon, who had a discarded aluminum can not only stuck, but deeply embedded in her leg.
SAVING WILD LIVES
This injured young raccoon required veterinary care to clean and suture her wounds, medicine to fight infection, good nutrition, and a safe place to heal. Well worth it, to see this little girl bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and ready for release!
Your year-end contribution of $70, or whatever you are able, is needed now to help with the continued care of our wild patients.
