While the Wildlife Rescue Center and its grounds are not open to the public on a daily basis, we host several community events and education programs throughout the year.

Nature Tots Storybook Hour

October 10, 2023 • 10am - 11am • Wildlife Rescue Center 

Cost: FREE with an item from our wish list

Bring your toddler to hear a tale and hit the trail! Join us for our in-person Nature Tots Storybook Hour on August 8, 2023. We will read a nature-themed story, enjoy a wildlife walk, and create an eco-friendly craft using nature's art supplies. Nature Tots Storybook Hour is FREE with the donation of an item from our wish list: https://www.mowildlife.org/wish-list.

Registration opens September 1, 2023

A fall favorite for families & friends of all ages! Visitors go behind the scenes on a not-too-spooky tour of our wildlife hospital, then trick-or-treat along the nature trail to meet some larger than life nocturnal animal ambassadors. Make a cool nature craft, enjoy s'mores by the fire, and more!  

Early-bird registration is just $10 per person through October 21 & $14 per person starting October 22. Kids 2 and under are FREE! Costumes highly encouraged at this family-friendly event.
