GROUP EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT THE WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER
The Wildlife Rescue Center's education programs are designed to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the natural world as well as our role in it.
HEALING WILD PROGRAM (1 HOUR)
$40 for first 10 participants • $5 for each additional participant (20 participant maximum)
The Healing Wild Program introduces audiences to the variety of wild animals who receive care at the Wildlife Rescue Center and provides a deeper understanding of the world of wildlife rehabilitation. Participants will learn about the types of animals we help as well as take a behind-the-scenes tour of our professional wildlife rehabilitation facility (excluding areas with recovering wildlife patients)
OUR WILD WORLD PROGRAM (2 HOUR)
$80 for first 10 participants • $5 for each additional participant (20 participant maximum)
Our Wild World Program focuses on sharing our world with our wildlife neighbors. Our Wild World includes interactive storytelling, a behind-the-scenes tour (excluding areas with recovering wildlife patients) of our professional wildlife rehabilitation center, as well as a guided hike through our 12 acres of forest, fields, and wetlands to search for wildlife and the clues they leave behind.
One additional activity may be included in the Our Wild World Program at no additional cost. You may choose from:

A nature-inspired art project to take home

A project creating enrichment items for our wild animal patients
SCOUT PROGRAMS (2 HOUR)
$80 for first 10 participants • $5 for each additional participant (20 participant maximum)
The Wildlife Rescue Center offers customized education programs to fulfill a variety of Scout Badge requirements. Below are some of our most popular badge programs. We may be able to fulfill content for other badges and awards as well- contact education@mowildlife.org for more information.

PROGRAM RESERVATION INFORMATION

Group Size: maximum 20 children and 10 adults

We require 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children in attendance.
- Chaperones are not considered program participants and are not charged participant fees. -
Program participants must be of kindergarten age or older. For younger children, please consider our family-friendly community events. For more information, visit our Events and Education Calendar.

1. A contact name, group name, and phone number
2. Program choice
3. Date and time preference(s)
4. Expected number of participants and adult chaperones

After checking availability, we will email you a link to register and submit payment. When your scheduling is finalized, you will receive a program confirmation.

Payment: Base fees ($40 or $80) are due at the time of registration. Additional participant fees may be paid at the time of registration or on the day of the program.
